Mark Morgan
Mark Morgan began his career as a graduate trainee with Hillier Parker in 1983. At Hillier Parker he worked in local authority consultancy before moving to the retail development team working on major town centre retail projects.
In 1987 Mark moved to Jones Lang Wooton as Head of Retail Development where he first worked with John Milligan. At JLW he advised on a number of major retail, leisure and mixed-used developments including Hastings, Kingston, Crawley and the Birmingham Bull Ring.
In 1996 Mark joined the First Leisure Group as their development director responsible for new acquisitions, developments and licencing throughout the company’s diverse leisure portfolio. Between 1997 and 1998 Mark’s team opened 27 businesses for an investment of £80 million. In 1998 Mark was promoted to property director with responsibility for the asset management of FL’s £200 million property portfolio.
